New support for judge-led inquiry into rendition

The Daily Mail has covered today a new "hard hitting" letter to the PM from APPG on Extraordinary Rendition Chair Ken Clarke MP, supported by David Davis MP and other cross-party MPs and Peers, which says that a judge-led inquiry is 'the only way to get to the bottom of this shameful episode in our recent history and draw a line under it.'

The letter says, "We urge the Government to...make good on the promise by the Cameron coalition government for: 'a single, authoritative examination of...these issues.' Nothing less will suffice.".
