Foreign Secretary David Miliband sends the APPG a correction to his recent answer to Andrew Tyrie on rendition. In it, he clarifies his understanding of rendition and extraordinary rendition.

FCO Minister Ivan Lewis MP wrote to the Chairman of the Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) about British nationals detained in Pakistan, following the JCHR's recent report on Allegations of UK Complicity in Torture.  He copied his letter to Andrew Tyrie.
The APPG writes to the Foreign Secretary, inviting him to exercise his discretion and disclose information to the Group following an earlier FOIA request.  The previous correspondence on this can be found on this website.
The APPG writes to Foreign Secretary David Miliband, appealing against the FCO's decision not to disclose information, requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), on Binyam Mohamed and US interrogation practices.
The FCO replies to the APPG's request for information under FOIA relating to the allegation that it solicited a letter from the US Administration to substantiate its claim that the publication of a summary of Binyam Mohamed's treatment would lead to a reconsideration of the intelligence sharing relationship between the US and the UK.
