| Description | The APPG receives a reply from the Foreign Office (FCO), following its Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for a copy of the minutes of the 2007 US/UK Political Military Talks held in Washington on 12 and 13 September 2007. It was during these talks that assurances on the use of the military facility at Diego Garcia were most recently given, according to answers from FCO Minister Dr Kim Howells MP. The request was rejected. The APPG appealed against this decision, and has now made a complaint to the Information Commissioner. |
