APPG on Extraordinary Rendition

Reply from Sir Peter Gibson, Chairman of the Detainee Inquiry, to the APPG's letter of 6 June 2011. Sir Peter confirms that the Inquiry do not intend to approach foreign personnel or organisation for evidence relating to UK involvement in rendition.

The APPG writes to Sir Peter Gibson, Chairman of the Detainee Inquiry, to reiterate that the Inquiry should cover the handover of detainees by UK forces 'in theatre' in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The APPG writes to Sir Peter Gibsom, Chairman of the Detainee Inquiry, calling on the Inquiry to request evidence from foreign organisations in order to establish the full extent of UK involvement in rendition.
